I was fortunate to recently have the skilled eye of stylist Anne Benshaw work with me on my wardrobe and help me select outfits for an upcoming business trip... While I have always been a follower of fashion and passionate about my wardrobe, I felt it was time to get guidance on my style and look outside my fashion comfort zone.
Anne’s approach is all about accentuating your personal positives, which meant the styling session left me feeling fantastic and with a sense of new possibilities for my wardrobe. With Anne’s guidance I removed items that had been hanging idle and unworn in my wardrobe for too long to mention. Other items got a new lease of life after Anne knowingly styled them with shoes and accessorise or suggested removing sleeves and altering hem lines.
Anne worked her magic on my wardrobe and then expertly helped me pack for a 10 day business trip in America. Anne’s advice and ability to co-ordinate items and take pieces from daywear to evening ensemble proved to be invaluable and meant I had the perfect traveling wardrobe.
Anne also suggested that I look at purchasing a pair of navy trousers that were a cut outside my ‘fashion comfort zone’. I purchased these trousers and have received nothing but glowing complements every time I have worn them, including my husband saying they are the most flattering pants I have ever worn!!
